3D printing in dentistry: Revolution in progress

PARIS, France: This year’s Annual Scientific Meeting of the European Association for Osseointegration (EAO congress), which was scheduled to take place in Milan in Italy, has been transformed into a digital event, owing to the ongoing global SARS-CoV-2 pandemic. After the success of its first online event in 2020, the EAO has announced the second edition of its Digital Days event, which will be streamed live from 12 to 14 October and will feature over 30 innovative and interactive shows.

Back with a bang—Dentistry Show London set to return in 2022 after successful staging


LONDON, UK: The Dentistry Show London aims to present a hybrid expo and educational programme that is suited to the entire treatment team, and it has come “back with a bang!” the organisers said. Thousands of dental professionals visited the event this year, and the organisers have announced that it will return to the UK capital next year on 7 and 8 October.

Dr Dominik Nischwitz is a dentist and naturopath, a world specialist in biological dentistry and ceramic implants, and the vice-president of the International Society of Metal Free Implantology. With his father, Dr Nischwitz cofounded DNA Health and Aesthetics Center for Biological Dentistry in Tubingen in Germany in 2015. Dr Nischwitz has exclusively used ceramic implants since 2013, placing more than 4,000 to date. A pioneer in the field of holistic dentistry, Dr Nischwitz regularly gives lectures around the world and has recently published his first book, It’s All in Your MOUTH (2020, Chelsea Green Publishing). He trains traditional dentists in biological dentistry and believes that all health starts in the mouth.
